Welcome to Palmers
Most of Palmers pubs can be found within West Dorset, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. The land is varied and interesting, serene yet exciting and, whatever mood you are in, you will always find a Palmers pub to suit. Dorset is at the heart of the ancient kingdom of Wessex and today it is one of the favourite places for visitors who can find reminders of life down through the centuries wherever they go.
It has beautiful countryside, a dramatic coastline and plenty of attractions, with miles and miles of designated walks; even the opportunity to go fossil hunting on the Jurassic Coast - England's only Natural World Heritage Site.
Look around

During the summer months, Palmers Brewery is open to visitors. For a nominal charge you will be given a guided tour, a glass or two of beer and a special certificate to commemorate your visit. There is one tour every week day commencing at 11.00am only. Tour lasts approximately 2 hours. Tours need to be booked via Palmers Wine Store, adjacent to the Brewery (minimum age 13). (Tel: 01308 427500)
Palmers has 57 public houses, primarily in the county of Dorset, but with others in prime locations in both Somerset and Devon. This Palmers Web Site will be extremely useful for anyone in search of good ale, good food and a warm West Country welcome. On the our list of pubs is a cross section of traditional eating and drinking houses run by licensees who utilise their own enterprise and skills to provide their customers with quality. The one thing they all have in common is traditional hospitality and all sell an excellent range of ales, wines, spirits and soft drinks.
