About Copper Ale

Tasting note:

Beautifully balanced, copper-coloured session ale, good citrus fruit with a hoppy aroma. Full-flavoured and brewed with Maris Otter malt and whole leaf First Gold aroma hops. Named after our brewery copper, still in use in the Old Brewery.

Try With:

The fruity notes and malty characteristics of our Copper ale, together with its lower alcohol levels pair beautifully with a wide range of food. Roast pork or chicken, Greek salad, smoked meats, a great pub burger, mid strength Cheddar cheese and even well spiced curries. For dessert, spiced pear works wonderfully.
