An open-plan kitchen and dedicated pizza oven serve an all-day menu built on fresh, local ingredients. Visitors can start the morning with artisan coffee or drop in later for a pint of Palmers award-winning ale from the innovative inside-outside bar. The building features an air-conditioned restaurant alongside a sun-trap roof terrace designed to make the most of the spectacular seaside views.
For longer holidays, three boutique bedrooms provide high-end comfort upstairs, complete with oversized bathrooms, 4K televisions, minibars, and direct views of the water. The venue won the CAMRA Pub Refurbishment of the Year award for preserving its historic character within a modern layout. Full disabled facilities are available on-site, and the entire property is dog-friendly for walkers coming off the beach.

The Pilot Boat features on our recommended pub walk: West Bay to Lyme Regis. The walk also visits the West Bay Hotel, the Anchor Inn at Seatown, the Royal Oak at Charmouth, and the Royal Standard and Cobb Arms in Lyme Regis.
